Maidenhead Town's Melodie Watts produced some eye-catching form to become the Berkshire Champion of Champions.
In the semi-final at Wokingham she played Carol Robbins of Hagbourne winning by eight shots (21-13).
In the final Watts played Wendy Smart from Prospect Park and after a fairly even start, took control of the match winning 21-9.
Watts now goes on to Leamington to represent Berkshire and will meet the Surrey champion on Thursday, July 31.
Maidenhead Town also had a triple in the county semi-finals at Wokingham and were represented by Joan Horner, Christine Wright and Sue Allaway.
On a tricky rink Town started slowly against Maiden Erlegh and were 8-3 down after eight ends.
After this Town found their length and scored three consecutive twos to go 9-8 ahead.
It was then Maiden Erlegh’s turn to go ahead and at 15 ends the score was level at 11-11.
The decisive end turned out to be the 16th when Town conceded four shots to make the score 15-11 down.
The last two ends were very tight with Maiden Erlegh collecting two single points making the final score 17-11 to Maiden Erlegh.
