Stone eyes winning run

9:00am Thu 4th Mar 10

Marlow boss Kevin Stone says his team must start winning more than just the odd game if they are to move up the table.

The Blues haven’t won two games on the spin since the beginning of December when they beat Atherstone and Rothwell.

But Tuesday night’s 2-0 success against AFC Sudbury, Marlow first win at home since December 5, has given them an opportunity to put that right.

Stone said: “If you want to move up this league you have to win games on the bounce.

“If you just win the odd game every now and again you just end up staying in the same position.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve two in a row so that’s something we’ve got to target.”

Marlow host Biggleswade Town and Saturday and then Barton Rovers on Tuesday night.
