8:53am Wed 24th Jun 09:: written by Steve Spencer

Ross Fisher has withdrawn from the BMW International Open after revealing he is too tired from his exertions in the US Open.

The International Open gets underway in Munich tomorrow (Thursday), but the Ascot golfer says his fifth place finish at Bethpage Black on Monday has taken too much out of him.

However, the 28-year-old who learned his trade at Wentworth is entered for next week's French Open.

Fisher has also stated that with his wife expecting a child during the week of The Open Championship, he will return home for the birth even if he is leading the field at Royal Turnberry by six shots!
