Boodles champion cruises through Wimbledon first round

Boodles Challenge champion Philipp Kohlschreiber cruised through his first round tie at Wimbledon today, just two days after lifting the trophy at Stoke Park.

The German No.1, seeded 27th at the All England Club, beat Frenchman Serra in straight sets 7-6, 6-1, 6-4.

Elsewhere, fellow Boodles competitors were in action at Wimbledon as Novak Djokovic - seeded fourth - took on Julien Benneteau on Centre Court, Evgeny Korolev faced Andreev and ninth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga took on Golubev.
