Marlow promoted after play-off win

Marlow RFC have won promotion back to the league from whence they came at the first attempt after beating Wooton Bassett in a play-off.
Russ Huxtable's men edged out their challengers 18-15 at Riverwoods on Saturday to take the third Southern Counties promotion berth behind North champions Buckingham and South champions Oakmedians.
With the RFU restructure of the league system, Marlow now go into the new South West 1 East (formerly South West 2 East), the league Maidenhead have just won.
