Twyford Advertiser

Launched in 2001 the Twyford Advertiser provides unrivalled coverage of Twyford, Wargrave, Charvil, Hurst, Ruscombe and Sonning. It is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date and comprehensive coverage of the area and campaigning on the issues that matter to its readers. Unlike most other local newspapers these days, the Advertiser is also truly independent.

Not only does it provide an independent voice for the community but it is independently owned. In 1962 editor and proprietor Louis Baylis transferred ownership of the Advertiser to the charitable trust that bears his name, effectively making a gift of the newspaper to the town. Since then the Advertiser has given the Louis Baylis Charitable Trust millions of pounds to distribute among good causes in the town.

The Advertiser also includes a monthly in-depth business news section and produces Berkshire Living, a glossy lifestyle magazine published four times year.
