UPDATE: Postmortem into woman's death in Chalvey

A man arrested in connection with two incidents in Chalvey today remains in police custody this afternoon.

The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder this morning.

Police were contacted shortly after 7am following a report that a 22-year-old had been stabbed at an address in The Crescent, Chalvey. He was taken to Wexham Park Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Enquiries then led police to an address in Ledgers Road where they found a woman with serious injuries.  Paramedics tried to save her but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A postmortem is due to be held.
