Man assaulted in park

A Slough man needed hospital treatment after he was beaten up by a group of four men in Salt Hill Park on Friday.

Police say the men, described as Asians, asked him for a cigarette before punching and kicking him in the face and body.

The attack happened at about 8.15pm near a tunnel which leads to Baylis Road.

The injured man, aged 54, suffered multiple cuts and bruises.

Detectives are investigating whether any weapons were used.

The men, all with short black hair, are described as being around 5ft 9in and two were said to be about 25 years old.

One was wearing a grey hooded top, with dark blue jeans and white sports shoes with black stripes.
Another was wearing a dark brown hooded top, dark blue jeans.

The other two were stocky, with stubble on their faces. One wore a white T-shirt and white sports shoes and spoke very clear English. The other wore a bright red T-shirt, dark blue jeans.
All wore white sport shoes.
