A gang attacked a driver and his car in Slough after he overtook a BMW.

Between 7.30-8pm on January 28, a man in his mid-50s was driving his silver Vauxhall Vectra on the M4 eastbound near Slough when he overtook an old-style BMW.

He left the M4 at junction six, followed by the BMW, which pulled up behind him at traffic lights in Tuns Lane.

Four or five men got out of the car and kicked the Vauxhall, causing substantial damage to the vehicle, including a smashed front offside window.

The men also punched the driver in the face, he sustained facial swelling and cuts to his hand from the broken window glass.

PC Jagdip Sekhon, investigating officer, said: "There were a number of other vehicles in the area at the time and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and assist with our investigation."

Anyone with information can contact PC Sekhon at Slough police station on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

  • I am convinced that it is a prerequisite to have ones brain removed before purchasing any BMW. The standard of driving, behavior and arrogance of drivers of these vehicle is appalling. This article doesn't surprise me in the least. Ian
