Woman, 63, dies after collision with car

A Maidenhead woman has died after a collision with a car in Reading yesterday afternoon.

A black Suzuki Jimny collided with the pedestrian on Forbury Road at about 12.40pm.

The 63-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are calling for anyone who witnessed the fatal collision, or the car prior to the incident, to contact them.

*An 18-year-old woman from Caversham was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on police bail until March 27.
