More staff from Nortel have been left with a bitter taste in their mouths after a second round of job cuts from the communications giant.
Employees, some who have had ties with the company for more than 20 years, are walking out of the company's offices in Maidenhead Office Park for the very last time today.
The latest round of redundancies in Maidenhead, comes just months after about 100 staff were axed from Nortel's Maidenhead offices without warning or pay.
Althought a seven-day warning was given to workers this time - they have been forced to leave without a company pay package.
Warning came on Monday last week that more cuts were to be made and by the end of the week, about 99 redundancies had been confirmed in Maidenhead and Nortel's other offices in Harlow. In Maidenhead, about 60 people have been axed, in the latest round.
Some of the staff who were axed in March were at Westacott Way yesterday to offer support to those dismissed.
A spokesman for administrators, Ernst and Young, said yesterday; "A comprehensive package of documentation has gone out today which they will have tomorrow.
"People from Jobcentre Plus have been on the site today to help with enquiries to assist with the process."
