Head-on collision hospitalises woman

A middle-aged woman was taken to hospital this morning after being involved in a head-on collision.

Firefighters had to cut her free from the wreckage after the 7am smash in Stoke Poges Lane, Slough.

Her condition is currently unknown.

Two people in the other car were treated for minor injuries on scene.

At 5.30am Slough firefighters put out a suspicious car fire in Griffin Close, Chalvey, which the police are investigating.
