West Wing panto in jeopardy after script and music stolen

4:13pm Mon 30th Nov 09:: written by Nick Mayo

A man who is helping to produce a Christmas pantomime for Slough is appealing for the public's help after the script was stolen from his car on Sunday.

Between 11.30am and 11.59am, thieves smashed a rear-side window of the man's silver Rover 200, which was parked outside the West Wing arts centre in Stoke Road.

The thieves stole a bag containing a laptop computer and two books, which includes vital technical information, including backing tracks and sound effects for the Christmas pantomime, Robin Hood.

Without this vital information the pantomime may not go ahead, and the man is prepared to offer a reward for the safe return of his stolen items.

Anyone with information can con the investigator, Pat Evans, of the Slough priority crime team on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

  • I have made this comment whenever I have seen this story appear. I say we should not let these criminals ruin something nice for Slough. I saw the panto people at the xmas lights switch on and they looked very good so if they can put on a show, we should support it and buy tickets and go along. That will show these theives that they don't win. Put on a show please Panto people, and Slough people get behind them and buy tickets.Amelie
