Slough CC may have been relegated from Home Counties Premier League Division 1 without winning a match, but it did not stop three of their players enjoying successful seasons.

Skipper Bobby Sher ended the campaign as th second highest run scorer in the division with 755 runs, behind High Wycombe's Matthew Eyles who smashed 871.

Young Slough opener, and star of Buckinghamshire's minor counties final victory last week, Fahim Qureshi ended in 14th spot with 528 runs, while colleague Michael Payne was 20th with 509 runs.

None of the Slough bowlers figured in the end of season leading performers.

Warren Miller, who took over the Farnham Royal captaincy midway through the season, also prospered with the bat in Division 1 scoring 521 runs ahead of clubmate Javed Khan who hit 503.

In Division 2 West, Burnham may also have been relegated, but this did not stop Mohammed Fazal from ending seventh in the batting performers with 513 runs.

Spinner Zulfi Butt was among the leading bowlers with 32.
