Boy in court on firearm charge

A 16-year-old boy appeared at Reading Crown Court on Monday in connection with an incident where a shotgun was discharged in Slough on February 28.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with being in possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and threats to kill.

He was remanded in custody to await a plea and case management hearing at Reading Crown Court on April 28.
