Suspected class A drug discovery in flat raid

A town centre flat in Maidenhead was raided by police this morning as part of a crackdown on drugs.

Officers broke down the door of a flat in Glynwood House, Bridge Avenue, at about 10am.

They carried out a full search of the premises and its three occupants and found what they suspect to be wraps of heroin in the bathroom.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs and taken to Maidenhead police station.
