4:26pm Mon 18th Jan 10:: written by Kelly Rawlings

More snow could be on the way midweek according to the Met Office.

It is early days, but the weather experts have put out an advisory notice for areas including Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough, Wokingham and Bucks, forecasting heavy snow during the day on Wednesday.

The Met Office advisory indicates that there is a moderate risk of severe weather.

Rain could turn to sleet or snow between two and five centimetres and in some parts of central England and Wales up to 10cm off snow could fall.

The cold spell has made for some of the most severe winter weather in the UK for decades.
