The devastated family of a five-year-old girl who died after contracting swine flu are still searching for answers over the death of their only child.

Nida Qureshi, the daughter of Zubair and Raheela Qureshi, died on Wednesday, November 11, in London's St Mary's Hospital, after contracting swine flu.

Today her 28-year-old bereaved father told the Express that doctors failed to diagnose her with the virus, until she was on life support.

"She was just five years old and was just so intelligent," he said.

The funeral was held on Friday, November 13 at Jamia Masjid in Diamond Road, Slough.
