Almost 5,000 rugby tackles will take place in The Nicholsons Centre from noon this Saturday as part of a world-record attempt.
Players from Maidenhead RFC's under 16 team are planning to repeatedly plough into tackle bags as part of their bid to raise funds for a tour of South America in July
The team needs to complete in excess of 4,853 tackles in 60 minutes to break the existing Guinness World Record.
Also, in recognition of the club's summer destination, professional dancer Edward Tattersfield will be demonstrating several Argentinian tangos.
A percentage of funds from the event will also be donated towards Sport Relief.
