Hopeless Potential are a four piece Metal/Hardcore/Melodic band from Maidenhead.

From the ashes of Drive To Encounter rise the four piece Metal band.

Originally formed many years ago as a side project, their line up was finally completed in May 2009 when guitarist Johnny Helm and bassist Adam Skinner joined original members vocalist/guitarist Ashley Savage and drummer Michael Furneaux.

They have set out to make metal music with a twist, fusing a ton of influences together to create music which is Brutal, Energetic, Unpredictable - and did we mention brutal?!

They said: "We enjoy having melodic influences in our music to as its such a great way to fuse tempo changes. Bands that have a similar feel to them as us are Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage and Asking Alexandria."

"Our songs lyrically are based on life challenges and relationships, we all have stories in our lives which affect who we become as a person, writing a song about these stories is what makes a song stand out from other people."

2010 has already kicked off to be a great year for the band after being approached by Casket Records and they have signed a record deal and secured a distribution deal for thier first record.

They plan to hit the studio by the end of 2010 to produce an EP.
