A harmonious new music centre has opened at Britwell youth club.
Young people can hit the high notes thanks to a £36,000 grant from the Communities Cash-back Scheme.
It uses money recovered from criminals to support community projects which address the effects of the fear of crime or anti-social behaviour.
As part of its Justice Seen, Justice Done campaign, Slough Borough Council asked the local community what needed improving in their area.
The youth club was picked as top priority and the council secured funding in November to create the music centre and open the youth club on Friday and Saturday nights.
The extra evening sessions will see on average of 30 young people through its doors.
Kam Bhatti, neighbourhood crime and justice co-ordinator for Slough Borough Council, said: "The views of local communities, and us being responsive to them, are critical to the public having confidence in seeing a criminal justice system that works for them."
