WIN TICKETS: Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief at Empire Cinema, Slough

The Express has joined forces with Empire cinema in Slough and Fox to give two lucky pairs the chance to win tickets to the forthcoming Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

The winners will receive a pair of tickets along with a goody bag on the film, containing treats including headphones, a backpack and t-shirt plus more.

The film Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is due for UK release on February 12 and includess Pierce Brosnan, Uman Thurman, Sean Bean and Steve Coogan among its stars.

Chris Columbus directs this movie about high school student Percy Jackson, whose mythology text books come to life with gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters walking right off the page.

And they are not happy: Zeus’ lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect.  Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. 

As Percy adapts to his newly discovered status as a demi-god (his father is Poseidon), he finds himself caught between the battling titans of Mount Olympus. 

He and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy’s mom and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.
