It's no surprise when they named themselves 'Irregularity' that this five piece band from Berkshire like to describe their style as 'something a little different'.

They play a mix of funk, rock, blues, all wrapped up with a tast of hip hop.

Bass player Leon Wood and James Stevens (lead guitar) had been playing together for some years and they were joined about five years ago by James Skills on rhythm guitar and the others came later to form the band Irregularity.

Leon said: "We want to try and be different. Me and Jay started by producing music to rap to and then we said let's try doing it live with a whole band.
I"t escalated from there. We are at the point where we have been together about three years and have been gigging for a year now.

This year the band have taken their creativity from the rehearsal room to the studio to start work on their first album so watch this space....
