Beer and Jazz a winning combination

A five-day beer and jazz festival is coming to Windsor's Alexandra Gardens in August.

There will be a stage featuring a wide range of music daily between 12.30pm and 10pm with chilled lunchtime sounds giving way to more energetic evening sessions. 

Funk legends the James Taylor Quartet, ska heroes Los Albertos and the bossa nova vibes of Jandira Silva will be among the attractions.

Meanwhile a wide range of real ales, ciders and summer brews will be on sale - thanks to the Real Ale Garden and Cider Orchard being set up for the occasion. 

There will also be Bar Fiesta featuring bottled beers and summer cocktails plus a festival soul foods area.

The event will run from Wednesday, August 12 until Sunday, August 16 and tickets can be bought by visiting www.royalwindsorbeerand jazz.com or in person at Alexandra Gardens from August 12 between noon and 10.30pm.

All people under 18 who attend the event will need to be accompanied by an adult and will not be admitted after 5pm.
