A world-class restaurant in Bray has been named as the second best eatery in an acclaimed industry list.
The Michelin three-starred restaurant was ranked number two in San Pelligrino World's 50 Best restaurants, which is chosen by 806 chefs, critics and industry experts.
Spanish eatery El Bulli was voted best in the world, with the Fat Duck one of only four British restaurants in the list of the top 50. The others were St John, Hakkasan and Nobu, all in London.
The news has come as a boost to celebrity owner and chef Heston Blumenthal, after the eatery was forced to close for two weeks last month after a series of diners fell ill.
The Health Protection Agency is set to publish a report into the investigation shortly.
