Bus Stop To Nowhere are an all-girl rock band based in Cookham. 

The group was formed in 2008 when guitarist Anna and drummer Amy C met at a bonfire party and found they had a common desire to form a band. 
They were joined later by Amy J and in their first year have played at Maidenhead venues including Heroes Bar, Kidwells Park Jam Festival and they are due to play at the 2009 Cookham Festival.
 

The trio are enjoying their first year as a new band, and so far the main part of their set includes covers, however they have written two songs and are working on others. 

The girls are now through to the semi-finals of Maidenhead's Battle of the Bands competition in May, and aim to play one of their own acoustic-style tracks.

Anna, who is a pupil at Furze Platt Senior School, said: "It is so much fun. Performing is brilliant, I love music and it is what I live for pretty much.

"We are hoping to write some more bouncy songs to get people going a bit crazy."

Their influences include Green Day, Paramore, Kings Of Leon, Blink 182, Katie Perry, Britney Spears, Blondie, Go:Audio.
